The purpose of Vision Ministries - Open Arms is to create a home for young pregnant women and young women with children.

We are a faith based ministry who wants to provide a safe loving home for these girls. We will help them to grow in faith by teaching them the love of God. By doing so they will regain self respect and confidence in themselves and trust in God. These women are in threat of being homeless or are in fact already homeless. Some even contemplate suicide, some even turn to prostitution and some think abortion is the only answer. We will not force anyone to go to church or Bible study, the choice will be theirs. But we will pray with them and let them know they can attend when they are ready.

My heart breaks for their parents. But what about the young women and her baby who is worrying about them?

Jesus says in his word “for the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost” Luke 19:10.

These young women are lost. And as Jesus did, we need to do.  Seek and save the lost. Let us not judge these women, just love them as God loves us, and do all we can to help.

Our mission is to create a safe structured environment for them to live in with their babies, to educate them and help them to become independent.

We will supply whatever they need as far as education, so that they will be able to get out into the work force and be able to take care of themselves and their child. We will provide daycare for them so they can go out to school or to work.

If a young woman comes to us and is pregnant, we will provide her with whatever type of professional she needs to make a clear and conscious decision about keeping her baby or giving it up to a loving family who would love to have a baby. The choice will be totally hers to make. We will not suggest or encourage abortion. We will educate her on what abortion is and let her know that the choice is totally hers to make. We will pray her through whatever decisions she makes.

Parenting classes will be taught to those who decide to keep their child. Cooking and all other household choirs will be taught also. Counseling will be available to those who choose to give their baby up for adoption and for those who have had abortions. Counseling for the fathers will also be available.

Our purpose and prayer is to help these young women in any way we can. If we can save one life we have done what would be pleasing and honoring to God.

A place they call home, where they will be able to live raise their babies.

IN GOD'S WORD IT SAYS “JEREMIAH 29:11, 12

11- FOR I KOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, DECLARES THE LORD. PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU. PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE. 12 - THEN YOU WILL CALL UPON ME AND COME AND PRAY TO ME. AND I WILL LISTEN TO YOU

This is a scripture of hope and that is what we want to give these women, hope to know they have a CHANCE TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICE
